After completing your GAMCA medical examination at an approved medical center in Pakistan, your test results are uploaded to the WAFID (Workforce Appointment Facilitator) system. This centralized online platform is managed by the Gulf Health Council (GHC) for all GCC member countries. The WAFID system serves as the official and only trusted source for checking GAMCA medical results. Any third-party website or unofficial service claiming to provide independent GAMCA results should not be considered reliable.
Applicants can check their medical status through the official WAFID result portal at WAFID Medical Status Search. To access the result, you must enter your passport number exactly as it appears on your passport bio-data page and select your destination GCC country. In most cases, results become available within 2 to 5 working days after completing the medical examination.
What is the WAFID System?
The WAFID system, short for Workforce Appointment Facilitator for Immigration and Deployment, is an initiative introduced by the Gulf Health Council to modernize and streamline the medical examination process for overseas workers traveling to GCC countries. Through this digital platform, all authorized GAMCA medical centers across Pakistan — including cities such as Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Chakdara — directly upload medical examination reports to the central WAFID database.
When you apply for a GCC work or residency visa, the respective embassy verifies your medical fitness status electronically through the WAFID system using your passport number. A valid medical clearance recorded in the WAFID database is mandatory for visa processing and approval.
